doing dishes

yes.  i am writing a post about doing dishes.  and?  really, this only merits attention because i think i could be on a reality show that's goal is to find the world's least efficient washers of dishes.  since i'm so slow at the whole dish-washing gig, i don't like to do it.  so they pile up. and then i'm left with a mountain of dishes.  no really...  here is what i was left with when the suds settled.
this is one side of the mountain. kind of like onions and ogres, this mountain has layers.

the other side.

it's kind of like a south asian urban center. it keeps growing with no real planning :)

once a dawg, always a dawg. even when doing dishes.

like i said sprawling.

this is mini mountain. mountain II. the burbs. you get the picture.

the lone piece of dining ware that was not washed.
honestly, i had fun washing the dishes. and i thought about some stuff too.  this is what i came up with.
  • if intelligence means having the answers, sanity is admitting you don't have them. sometimes admitting sanity makes you look insane.  sometimes not admitting you don't have all the answers makes you look more, well crazy to quote the philosophizing duo gnarls barkley... "who do you, who do you, who do you, who do you, who do you think you are. well 'bahaha! bless you're soul. you really think you're in control. well. i think you're crazy."
yeah, "crazy" was on this really awesome playlist that itunes genius created and i edited.  it was based on "midnight train to georgia" by gladys knight and the pips.  the apollo theatre recently honored her, so i thought i'd do my part.  the playlist included john legend, lauryn hill, and etta james, to name a few.  it also might have ended with "cupid shuffle." i might have danced while finishing washing and after finishing.  i might have.
