i've been tagged...

so, i normally don't do these, but one of my really cool friends mary tagged me, so i thought i'd comply.  plus, i figured it give you a little more insight into who is writing all of the stuff on this blog, just in case y'all don't know who i am.


1. What actor would you want to play you in a movie?

• hmm... either matt damon or joseph gordon-levitt

2. Who is your favorite author and what is your favorite book by them?

• right now c.s. lewis: mere chrisitianty but i also like thornton wilder, john piper, and a bunch of dudes who speak spanish

3. Where would you go on a dream vacation?

• well, since this is a dream vacation... New Zealand, Spain, Argentina, and England (and Ireland)... is that too many... i have a lot of friends that i want to visit who live in some other really cool places

4. What are you most afraid of?

• ooh... that is tough... i'm going to go all deep and say not living the life that the Father made for me to live... this sounds like a post that i'll have to write soon!

5. If you could have all your friends on a deserted island, what are three things you would all do together?

• converse!  just hang out around a bonfire or sit around a table with some good food and something to drink
• well, what other things would we do... have an awesome game of football (soccer, folks).
• eat... wait, i said that already...

6. What's something people don't know about you?

• hmm... i feel like i talk so much that all of the good stuff is already out there, but let's see...
• i weighed 12 pounds at birth
• i have very particular opinions about coffee and food
• i have very particular opinions about a lot of things (but lately it seems like i have let some of these things go... at least i don't complain when other people want to listen to country music or drink bad coffee)
• i want to be a writer... wait, i already told you that!

7. What is your guilty pleasure?

• let's see...
• coffee in large quantities. unfortunately there aren't any starbucks on this side of the ocean... at least near me...
• pride and prejudice (the new one with kiera knightly)
• watching a large number of office episodes in a row...
